As the LGBTQ community grows in membership and society’s acceptance, organizations and groups that defend and promote them have grown as well. You may find some of them here.
As a way to be part of this movement, we have created the hashtag #NoMoreClosetKillers to promote awareness of the difficulties that this community faces daily.
A closet killer does not necessarily have to be an individual who kills homosexual couples, it may also be someone who verbally abuses a member of the LGBTQ community due to his/her sexual preference; or someone who harasses a person until he/she fears to demonstrate his/her sexuality.
We invite you to use this hashtag on all your social media to help us stop this unacceptable treatment.
